The Access Network

The programme for ambitious students aged 16–18 from low income homes & ethnically diverse backgrounds

A path to success

The Access Network is a 12 month programme for socially and ethnically diverse talent, aged 16-18, who want to grow in confidence, get help with their future choices and build relationships with successful people in business who can help them on their path to success.

Key success skills

Students get the opportunity to attend workshops on key success skills they need now and in the future as well as getting a coach from one of our businesses who they can work with 1-to-1 over 6-9 months to help them achieve their goals.

All current CSR programmes:

  • Eversheds Sutherland Unlocked – Running since 2008, the programme is open to 16-18 year olds who would like support to successfully apply to university and understand what they need to do to secure a training contract at a law firm like Eversheds Sutherland
  • The Access Network – Running since 2017, students aged 16-18 years can take part in success skills workshops and coaching programmes
  • Invest for Success – Since 2015, the 6 month programme for students aged 16-18 years learn how  the professionals make their clients’ money from the financial markets

The results are real

Our programmes have helped schools keep some of their most challenging young people in education, improve their engagement levels, and ultimately improve their  grades.

Of the graduates of our Success for Life programme for A’ Level students:

  • 73% of participants achieved A*-C in at least 2 of their subjects
  • 73% of programme graduates who were previously deemed at risk of becoming NEET who are currently at university or in full time employment
  • 62% went on to university
  • 28% of graduates who were previously deemed at risk of becoming NEET went on to attend one of the UK’s top 25 universities

“Time and time again, without prompting, previous graduates of Arrival Education’s programme would share the impact of it on their lives, long after they finished.”

Devon Hanson, Principal of Walworth Academy

“Success for Life opened up my eyes to a world I had not known before. I learnt to understand what it meant to achieve success far before any of my peers, and to this day, I feel more equipped when seeking out opportunities or setting goals for my future.”

Nashon Powell, Success for Life Graduate
